How to prepare an analysis on Amazon Vendor in a few steps?

What is Amazon Selection Assistant and how to use it?
The Amazon portal regularly introduces new solutions designed to make it easier for sellers to use this platform. The latest addition in the Amazon Vendor program is the Amazon Selection Assistant. With it, you can quickly check if the products you want to introduce to this marketplace are already offered there. This is important due to the possibility of linking your own offer to an existing listing. Check how to take advantage of this capability and speed up your entry process into Amazon.
How does Amazon Selection Assistant work?
This new service allows you to quickly check if there are already products among the offers available on the platform that you want to list. Simply upload your entire product portfolio to gain access to a complete analysis detailing the existing listings for the provided EAN codes along with information on how many of them are not yet on Amazon. This way, you can avoid manually searching for each product by GTIN and, by uploading a complete file, receive comprehensive information in no time.

On the left side, in the last bullet point, you will find a link to the file (Use this template), which needs to be filled out and uploaded in the panel. After completing the required fields, upload it to gain access to information regarding the current offer and its potential expansion.

Remember to fill in all marked fields. This will ensure that the feedback received is reliable and comprehensive.
What does the file I need to complete look like?
The file to be filled out is extremely simple. The only mandatory field is the column containing the product ID, but it is worth completing all three:
In the first, choose the type of identification code - you can choose EAN, UPC, ASIN, GTIN, and JAN
In the second, provide the selected code
In the third, enter the product name.

How to read and analyze the results?
Success - you have generated results! It's time to analyze them. In the left column, individual categories are listed. You will find information about products:
Those that are not yet on Amazon
Available from other Vendors
ASINs requiring more detailed information
Unavailable
For which the portal recommends a price change
That are already available on the platform.

The division into sections allows for a thorough review of selected offers, e.g., only products that no one is yet selling on this marketplace. Information about listings from other Vendors will enable you to decide whether to connect to them or to abandon your own listing. Pricing recommendations are also important. In the Vendor program, you have less influence on shaping pricing strategy than in FBM and FBA, so it is worth considering Amazon's recommendations to remain competitive.
