Charge for “Carton Information Compliance” (No Carton Content Label)
The charge for “Carton Information Compliance”, also known as “No Carton Content Label”, came into effect on 4 March 2019.
In 2018, suppliers in the Vendor programme were only receiving information about Non Compliance without any penalties being applied. As of March 2019, the situation has changed – non-compliance means additional costs.
Carton Information Compliance pertains to the requirements for each carton shipped to Amazon FC. If a carton does not have the appropriate label containing information about its contents, a fee of 0.05 EUR per item contained in that carton will be charged.
The fee may be applied to each carton in a given ASN.
To avoid charges:
The carton must have a valid label with the correct 20-digit code (GS1 SSCC or AMZNCC) in text form and barcode format.
The label should include the ASN/BOL number in text form, and preferably also in barcode format, or a list of PO numbers that the carton pertains to.
The ASN notification must include the same data as that on the carton in addition to the standard information (GS1 SSCC or AMZNCC).
