The "Carton Compliance" fee for the Vendor programme comes into effect on 4th March 2019.
1 Mar 2019
The charge for "Carton Information Compliance" or also known as "No Carton Content Label" comes into effect on 4.03.2019. In 2018, suppliers in the Vendor program received information regarding Non Compliance, however, these were only informational and no charges were applied. This changes from 4.03.2019.
Carton Information Compliance pertains to the requirements that each carton sent to Amazon FC must meet. If the carton does not have the appropriate label containing information about the contents of that carton, a charge of EUR 0.05 will be applied for each item sent in that carton. The charge can be applied to each carton in a given ASN.
To avoid charges, it is essential to ensure that:
The carton has a correct label containing a valid 20-digit code (GS1 SSCC or AMZNCC) in text format as well as a barcode
The label must include the ASN/BOL number in text format and preferably in barcode form, or the list of POs to which the carton relates
The ASN notification, in addition to the normally required information, should contain the same information that will be on the carton (GS1 SSCC or AMZNCC)
