Cross-border e-commerce Academy in Bydgoszcz 2026

25 Jun 2026

On 25 June, we were in Bydgoszcz for the Cross-border e-commerce Academy meeting, organised in cooperation with the Polish Chamber of Commerce.

This is one of those events that reminds us that the topic of foreign expansion has ceased to be a "plan for sometime" for companies. Today, it is increasingly a solid business decision: how to enter a new market, not burn through the budget, protect the brand, and maintain margins.

Tomasz Jankowski, CEO of Go2Market, gave a presentation:

"Cross-border on Amazon: scaling, brand protection and margin. A safe expansion strategy for manufacturers."

Its aim was to make the audience aware that selling on Amazon does not end with listing products and running ads. Safe expansion requires looking at the entire process: logistics, costs, compliance, content, marketing, brand protection, and bottom-line control. Entering another market may look simple only on a slide. In practice, questions directly impacting profit arise very quickly.

This is exactly what we discussed with the participants after the presentation. And that was the most valuable part of the event for us – specific questions, challenges, and conversations with companies that want to make better decisions.

The program also featured presentations by experts from Expandeco and ecommerce.legal. Expandeco showed the perspective of localisation and building brand position in new markets. ecommerce.legal drew attention to compliance and legal requirements, which are of great importance for the security of cross-border sales.

We thank the Cross-border e-commerce Academy and the Polish Chamber of Commerce for the invitation and the efficient organisation of the meeting. We also thank all participants for their presence, questions, and conversations.

It is clear that cross-border e-commerce is increasingly coming down to discussions about margin, risk, processes, and long-term results.

We look forward to the next edition.
