A new indicator has recently been added to the Seller Central account in the Perfomance section: “Customer Product Reviews Policy Violations”.
This indicator monitors and reports on the non-compliance of customer product reviews with Amazon’s guidelines. In April 2018, millions of product reviews that came from sources that did not comply with Amazon’s policy were removed. The new indicator is a continuation of the “Customer Experience” policy being implemented, which emphasises the integrity of product information and ensuring shoppers have the best shopping experience through Amazon.
Amazon has a “Zero tolerance” policy on soliciting and manipulating product reviews. The new indicator is an expression of this. Be careful, monitor this indicator because according to Amazon’s policies, each of the indicators in the Product Policy Compliance section has a terget of zero. Even one “complaint” can lead to a restriction on sales or even a complete account ban.
